Kauthar Roomaney: An inspirational young lady

An inspirational 19-year-old, beat cancer and now devotes her time to help raise awareness as well as funds for other cancer patients. She has become a positive influence in the lives of many.

Kauthar Roomaney, born and raised in Cape Town, has been one of Muslim Hands most loyal and dedicated volunteers since she was 14.
Kauthar always availed herself during school holidays and over weekends to assist Muslim Hands with various fundraising campaigns and projects.
Due to her unique personality, dedication and her passion for serving the community she has been involved in many fundraising projects.

Being a cancer survivor herself, Kauthar had a special connection with the cancer patients as she was able to relate to their life changing experiences, therefore she was a positive influence and inspiration to many whom she has met.

Muslim Hands ZA

Established in 1996, Muslim Hands South Africa is an aid agency and NGO aiming to help those affected by natural disasters, conflict and poverty. It is a branch of Muslim Hands UK established in 1993 in Nottingham.
