Support a child in need
On the authority of Ibn ‘Abbas (ra) who said, ‘The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, “Paradise has a door which is called ‘Happiness’, only those who bring joy to children will pass through it.”’ [Dailami]Every child deserves a safe and joyful childhood, along with opportunities to create a bright future for themselves.
Muslim Hands' sponsorship programs offer disadvantaged children the care and support they need not just to survive, but to thrive, both during childhood and into the future. Central to our sponsorships is education.
Our orphan sponsors ensure access to schooling, free meals, and medical check-ups. Our Hifz sponsors provide impoverished children with the foundation of an Islamic education, while those supporting children with disabilities ensure they receive the specialized care and assistance needed to flourish despite challenges.
The Messenger of Allah (saw), who was himself an orphan, exemplified kindness, compassion, and respect towards children. As his Ummah, let us follow his example by supporting and empowering some of the most disadvantaged young people in the world.

Sponsor an Orphan
“Blessed is the wealth of the Muslim, from which he gives to the poor, the orphan and the wayfarer.” (Muslim)
Losing a parent can make access to education, safe shelter, nutritious meals, and the chance for a secure future seem like an impossible dream. This is why the responsibility to care for orphans falls on all of us.
Who could be more deserving of our help than a child with no one to turn to?

Hifz Student Sponsorship
‘The best among you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it’. (Bukhari)
Like all our education projects, our Hifz sponsorship programme empowers disadvantaged children with the knowledge and skills they need for a brighter future. Learning to read and memorise Qur’an will not only give them a beautiful foundation to learn more about Islam, but also the opportunity to share that knowledge as teachers and Imams in adulthood.
We are currently supporting children who would otherwise be unable to study, providing them with a safe space to learn and qualified teachers to guide them.
Students begin their studies at the age of nine, and the program typically takes between three and six years to complete, depending on the child’s ability.

The Impact of Orphan Sponsorship in Pakistan
There are currently over 4.6 million orphaned children living in Pakistan. The loss of one or both parents changes a child's life forever.
When the family’s breadwinner, often the sole earner, passes away, the family is left struggling to meet basic needs, such as putting food on the table, let alone affording an education.
