Position Summary

Content Creation:

  • Draft blog posts, social media captions, newsletters, and website copy aligned with brand tone and objectives.

Research & Idea Generation:

  • Conduct research on industry trends, audience preferences, and competitor content to inform writing.

Editing & Proofreading:

  • Ensure all content is grammatically correct, error-free, and meets quality standards.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the design and marketing teams to produce cohesive campaigns.

SEO Optimization:

  • Apply basic SEO principles to improve content visibility and engagement.

Performance Standards:

  • Quality: Content is clear, accurate, and adheres to brand guidelines.
  • Timeliness: Tasks and assignments are completed within agreed deadlines.
  • Creativity: Demonstrates originality and fresh ideas in copywriting.
  • Engagement: Content contributes to measurable increases in audience interaction (likes, shares, comments).
  • Compliance: All work aligns with organizational policies and ethical standards.

Education:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Media Studies, or a related field.

Skills:

  • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital content strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with content management systems (CMS) is an advantage.
  • Creative thinking and ability to adapt tone for different audiences.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in writing (academic, blogging, or freelance) is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and trends.

  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
  • Eagerness to learn and collaborate in a team environment.
