Thank You for Providing Us with Food

Muslim Hands

Assalamu alaikum,

My name is Amina. I'm an elderly woman from Salah Aldeen in Aleppo. Like many other Syrians, I was forced to leave my home when army forces took control of the area. I had no other choice than to flee to a camp with my son and his family.

After losing my husband before the  crisis, I simply wanted to live in peace and safety with my sons and grandchildren, but sadly due to the unstable situation in Aleppo we were not safe. I am currently living in Sa’ed Camp in northern Idlib in a small tent which doesn’t give me or my family any privacy. I often spend my time sitting outside my tent, dreaming of when I can return home.

When I left my home I had to leave my belongings behind. I have nothing here and I can't support myself or my family. Alhamdulillah, your kind donations have made things easier for us. We've been given food parcels which keep us going during this difficult time.

These food parcels go a long way. Thank you for those of you who are helping to send food to us and other displaced people.

Thank you for your support.

Ramadan Kareem from everyone at Muslim Hands!
