This is why you should give your Qurbani with Muslim Hands

At Muslim Hands, we take our responsibility of giving Qurbani very seriously. We make sure to follow the Sunnah of the Prophet (SAW) in every step of the Qurbani journey, so that your sacrifice is 100% valid and benefits as many families as possible.

As well as fulfilling a religious obligation, your sacrifice, Muslim Hands…

1. Gives you the choice

You can choose to offer your Qurbani in developing countries like Malawi, Niger, and Senegal or even right here in South Africa. If you cannot decide on a location, let our experts on the ground identify where your sacrifice is most needed.

2. Helps you do your bit to tackle world hunger

We work closely with field workers and community leaders to identify families that are most in need. Last year, we were able to help Fatoumata, who lives with her five children in Koulaba, Mali - a poverty-stricken community where hunger and disease is on the rise. With so many mouths to feed, meat is simply an unaffordable luxury for the family.

3. Gives you stun free Qurbani

Every animal is sacrificed according to traditional Sunnah methods of slaughter, guaranteeing that your sacrifice is halaal and valid. We do not stun any of our animals.

4. Is fresh, not frozen, or tinned

All our Qurbani meat is fresh - we do not distribute any frozen or tinned meat. Fresh meat is healthier and more filling.

5. Is made after Eid salah

All sacrifices are made after Eid salah, following the Sunnah of Prophet (saw), as verified in the hadith: ‘Whoever offers a sacrifice after the prayer has completed his rituals (of Eid) and has followed the way of the Muslims.’ (Bukhari).

6. Provides invaluable support to local farmers

Sourcing everything locally means that we can cast our net wider and help even more people. We buy all our animals from local farmers and employ local animal herders and caretakers to look after them. This creates and maintains jobs in the weeks leading up to Eid al-Adha.

This is what makes Qurbani with Muslim Hands so special.

With prices from as little as R995, donate today to start your Qurbani journey and make your sacrifice for the sake of Allah (SWT).
