The Qurbani, also known as the Eid al-Adha sacrifice, is an important religious tradition for Muslims worldwide. It commemorates the great sacrifice of the Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.) and involves the slaughtering of livestock, such as sheep, goats, or cows. The meat from the sacrificed animals is distributed among the needy, symbolizing the values of charity and generosity.

Through our extensive network and partnerships, we facilitate the Qurbani sacrifice on behalf of individuals and communities who wish to participate. The meat from these sacrifices is then distributed to marginalized and disadvantaged groups, reaching those most in need. Alhamdulillah, we have been distributing your sacrifices for over 25 years and we keep expanding our service! This year, Muslim Hands will be implementing its Qurbani operations in 11 countries including India, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Pakistan, Senegal, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and The Gambia. If you can’t decide where to give your Qurbani - don’t worry! Simply select our ‘Where Most Needed’ option and our teams will allocate your Qurbani to where it is most needed on the ground.
Our team is currently engaging local farmers to procure the best quality animals and ensuring that they are well looked after and healthy. All animals will be sacrificed strictly in accordance with the Sunnah, and meat will be distributed to beneficiaries, so they too can enjoy the blessings of Eid with their families.
We have a set quota of Qurbanis for each location, so we recommend that you give your Qurbani as early as possible to avoid disappointment. However, you can make your Qurbani order right up until Asr time on the third day of Eid. This is because Muslim Hands has already sacrificed the animals in time for Eid distribution, with the intention that some donors will give their money on the third day.
