Thank You for Giving Us Bread to Eat

Muslim Hands

Assalamu alaikum,

My name is Abdullah. I’m an Arabic teacher from Idlib, Syria. I live with my parents in Maaret Al-Numan and work in one of the local schools in the area.

Before the war started, I went to university and studied Arabic language. I also worked in the university library to allow me to earn money and continue my studies.

During the war, the bakery supported by Muslim Hands has been a great support to families like mine. Every morning, I go to the bakery to get bread for my parents. I take care of my mother and father every day, looking after their health and preparing their meals.

The bakery is in a great location to help many families. It makes sure that they can safely get bread each day, without needing to travel far from their homes.

In the future, I’d like to continue my studies in Arabic and develop my teaching skills to increase my prospects. For now though, the bakery in Idlib is helping families such as mine during an unstable period of our lives. Thank you for all your help. Barak Allah feekum.

Thank you for your support.

Ramadan Kareem from everyone at Muslim Hands!
