Qurbani Journey Part Three: Caring for the Animals

Muslim Hands

At Muslim Hands, we use local, healthy animals for your Qurbani, cared for by local farmers like Labu, a Malawian goat herder.

The goats we buy with your Qurbani donations provide Labu with an essential livelihood. For two weeks, Labu makes sure that these animals are well fed and watered in time for Eid.

With the money that Labu earns from looking after these goats, he can buy food, clothing and other essentials for himself and his family. For Labu, Eid will be a happy time thanks to the work you’ve provided him with.
