Soap 4 Hope Project

The Soap 4 Hope process starts at participating hotels, which transport leftover soap to a nearby site where local people reprocess them using an innovative but simple cold-press method. The new soap is then distributed directly to the local communities who need it most.

A site inspection was conducted to assess the condition of the facility and it was evident that there is a dire need for the upgrade of the facility. Muslim Hands SA upgraded the facility by plastering and painting the walls, fitted a new ceiling and replaced the front gate.

Founding Member, Mama Rosie wish to thank Muslim Hands SA for the generous partnership in upgrading the facility which is a stepping stone for many good things to come. “The Soap 4 Hope project is still very new, and we are proud to have Muslim Hands part of this journey.”
