Out In The Cold - Jumuah Feeding

Muslim Hands

As part of the Out In The Cold campaign, the MHSA team delivered a much-needed feeding at Masjidul Bilal, in Khayelitsha. A very poor and socio-economically challenged community. The team fed over 100 musalees and many members of the surrounding community.

The MH team was warmly welcomed by Sheikh Ismail Ngqoylyana who mentioned that the location constantly seeks much-needed help and every form of a contribution to the area is highly appreciated.

Apart from the feeding in Khayelitsha, we also had a bread distribution at Sunrise Farm in Phillipi. The beneficiaries are all from the surrounding informal settlements such as Egoli. Many of the recipients were delighted for the loaf of bread they received as this is something which is a daily struggle for them to find.
