Eid al Adha Mubarak

Ierfaan Cassiem

السلام ءليكم ورحمة الله و بركاته

On behalf of the Board of Trust, management, staff & volunteers of Muslim Hands South Africa, I convey our heartfelt Eid Greetings to all our donors, beneficiaries and the entire Muslim Ummah. May Allah (SWT) shower His choicest blessings upon you, your family and friends, and may He grant you the highest level of happiness and joy on this auspicious day, Ameen.

Eid al-Adha is a special time when Muslims pause to appreciate the importance of sacrifice and devotion. It provides an opportunity for renewed spirituality, prayer, and reflection, and for families and friends to gather in celebration and thanks for the many blessings of Allah (SWT).

The day of 'Arafah is the greatest day of the year! The Prophet (SAW) said, “There is no day on which Allah (SWT) frees people from the Fire, more so than on the Day of ‘Arafah'”. May He accept your righteous good deeds on this holiest of days, Ameen.

Eid is also a time for charity and for helping those who are less fortunate including the many adults and children forced to flee violence in the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia. Eid reminds us of all our common humanity and of our obligation to help one another whenever and wherever we can. The true spirit of these sacred days can be found in the efforts of all those people who sacrifice to provide humanitarian relief and assistance to those who need it most. On this joyous occasion, we want to express our gratitude to our generous and loyal donors, who allow us to do what we do on their behalf.

I pray to Allah Almighty to grant us courage and strength to continue helping those most in need in every possible way, Ameen.

May Allah grant peace and prosperity to all.

May your faith and love for Allah (SWT) be rewarded with peace, happiness, and successes for today and always. Wishing you a joyful Eid ul Adha!

كل عام وأنتم بخير
