Bridging the Menstrual Gap Through School Sanitary Towel Distribution

Sanitary towel access in rural areas remains a critical challenge, often overlooked but with significant implications for the well-being and empowerment of women and girls.

Embarking on a mission: On October 23, 2023, our team delivered 250 sanitary towels to Masakheke Combined Secondary School in Rural Robertson.
The students at the school were filled with enthusiasm as they received the sanitary towels, a resource not readily available to them
Teacher Deidre, serving as an educator at the school for the past 7 years, extended her gratitude to the generous donors of Muslim Hands.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our friends at Moosa's Enterprises for their transportation assistance.
We also contributed 167 packs of sanitary towels to Nkqubela Primary School. Your generosity made a profound impact on the students, leaving them deeply touched.
The students formed orderly queues to collect the sanitary towels, and thanks to your support, they won't have to miss school due to menstrual issues any longer.
