Help Where It’s Needed The Most

The Prophet (saw) said, “Verily, the believers are like a structure, each one strengthening the other.” [Bukhari]

When you give to our Where Most Needed fund, you enable us to assist the most vulnerable communities around the world. Our projects include: building water wells in remote villages, providing specialized healthcare to refugees, delivering food in regions facing food insecurity and distributing emergency relief in conflict zones.

With offices in over 30 countries, we work with local experts to determine where the need is greatest, and create solutions that work best for specific communities. Through your donations, we are able to respond to emergencies across the globe and create sustainable projects in poor communities.

Key Facts

Globally:

153 million children are orphans

811 million people suffer from hunger

2.2 billion people lack access to safe drinking water

Will You Help Hanifa?

“We are very poor. Sometimes we get food, sometimes we don’t. At times, the children go to sleep hungry” - Hanifa. Hanifa lives on Baba Island, one of the poorest areas in Pakistan. Widowed at a young age, Hanifa has struggled with poverty all her life. Her eldest son passed away of cancer, leaving behind 2 grandchildren that Hanifa raises.

Currently, the family’s sole breadwinner is her son who barely earns R20 per day. During monsoon season, their house gets flooded with dirty sewage water, making it unbearable for the family to live in. She hopes her house can get rehabilitated and her grandchildren are able to attain a quality education that can lift them out of poverty.
