Your Donations In Action: Qurbani Distribution Amidst a Pandemic

Muslim Hands

“Before, we used to ask neighbouring villages for Qurbani meat. This year, they told us not to come to their homes because they are worried about the spread of Coronavirus.”

This past year the COVID19 pandemic has brought everything to a standstill, impacting the neediest and most vulnerable communities around the world the hardest. Jobs have been lost, food supply chains disrupted and healthcare systems completely overwhelmed, making Qurbani distributions this year extra special.

Thanks to your generosity, your Qurbani donations reached more than 147,000 beneficiaries in some of the poorest regions of Pakistan, Niger, and Mali as well as war-ravaged Yemen.

Our teams worked around the clock to ensure your Qurbani donations were distributed to the neediest, such as orphans, widows, and the elderly, in 19 different countries, including South Africa.

As you can see, there is wisdom and immense reward in following the teachings of our beloved Prophet (saw) and we pray that Allah (swt) accepts all of our sacrifices and efforts Inshallah!
